Finish line
I placed an order with Finish Line on January 18. I have not received my order. I have tried to communicate with them but have gotten no response. They did send a receipt and charged my account. Does anyone know if they are in business still or how I can get in touch with them. ?
Thanks

If you do a quick search you'll see that this has been going on for years and is why he is no longer accepted as a vendor on this site and the reason why when you type in "Finish Line" as all one word (which is how the business name is configured) rather than two it is automatically censored out. Some orders get sent promptly, some take significant time and some are never fulfilled.
Good luck.

I ordered some defrost vents and wiper bezels and wiper arms from them. I suspect they are acting as a middle man and ordering from somewhere else and dropshipping for some items. The same parts can be found elsewhere. One order arrived within a week but the other took a few weeks. It sounds hit or miss and if I had known better probably would have steered clear when I ordered.

I ordered parts from Finish Line before I ordered my kit from FFR. I had read the horror stories of taking several months to get parts and wanted to make sure I had them when needed... I ordered the "AC" badges, 289 shifter, and shift knob. I ordered on a Sunday evening and had the parts in Virginia the following Thursday. I guess I got lucky...

I ordered sleeves and grommets last July. Still waiting. No response, no email, nothing.

File it as a fraud claim with your bank. They'll credit you back, and then they'll deal with getting their money back.

For what it is worth I ordered ~$200 parts from Finish Line last Sunday. I used a gift certificate and Pay Pal. With USPS shipping I had the (5) parts by Thursday 27FEB. Taylor Holmes did the deal.
That is better service than I get from other part suppliers.

I've actually ordered a few times from them and each time including last month I got an email confirmation and the parts within a few days. I'm either very lucky or they just treat nice guys better than others
IDK
It's a shame as they have some neat Cobra stuff. My last purchase was a Carroll Shelby Motors license plate frame that looks great.

********** is a one man show. Yes he can be slow but I've used him for years and will continue to use him as I've had no real problems. Surprised he's not returning calls though...

I too have had very good luck. Never did I not get an order. Terrible way to run a business though. In all my years of buying from him he has never answered a question or returned a phone call.

There have been so many horror stories here about Finish Line. Seems like way more bad than good. I have placed two orders with them, and both were received in a reasonable amount of time. BUT... based on the stories I have read over time I would not use them again. I guess I was just lucky.

When I contacted him about canceling my order he said he had a serious computer problem and just got it up and running again and before the end of the day he sent me my order.

It's sad that some have had such difficulty. It used to be a great place to deal with back when I built my roadster. When the owner (father) died, the family tried to run it on their own, but I think it soon overwhelmed them, as they had other full time jobs and were raising family's. Shame the new owner has wreaked havoc on what was a good reputation, mainly because of horrible communication with customers.
