    New wheels

I am going to break down and purchase some 18in h wheels, tire selection for the 15inch sucks. I have found 2 different sets on FFR and AC Cobra site for sale, good price. Anyone done business with them? Are they legit? Just don’t want to be scammed. The wheels are 18x9 and 18x11, I assume they will fit the roadster with 3 link no issues. Thanks for the help.

If your talking about the ones on Facebook, they are scammers. Buy them from Factory five or a known member on this forum or the other.

Well that sucks, I thought that maybe the price was too good to be true, half of what FFR wants, haven’t found any for sale by members, Lots of 15 inch, seems like everyone is selling them, looking to upgrade.

Thanks for the info I just texted her, I do know that tire selection for the 17in aren’t as good as for the 18 but much better than 15

Funny, I'm about to close on a Mk4 with 18" wheels and have been looking into 15" wheels (not a clue if they'd fit). Hadn't considered tire availability as a factor...are there none to be found or just too expensive?

15" tires in the sizes we use are available and reasonably priced but the selection is limited and none of them are a "high performance" tire. The choices are Mickey Thompson Sportsman ST, Cooper Cobra Radial GT and BF Goodrich Radial TA.
