This is a very busy resort town in the summer. Please don't think that you will be able to just show up friday and get a room (it wont happen) Don't wait untill the last minute for your reservation or you will get shut out.

Those who were there last year probably remember the stink the hotel gave us because they did not think we rented enough rooms to make it worth their while. Well, low and behold, we had rented plenty of rooms but they did not know we were there for the Summer Run. The reason was we were getting cheaper rates with AAA or Military. That's OK, get the cheapest rooms you can but please, after prices are agreed upon, let them know you are there for the Summer Run and make our lives easier.

Thanks and hope to see you there. It really is a low key event with great people, scenery, cars and itinerary.

Guys, this is a run we look forward to all year!

Truly an outstanding time in God's country, NY.

Last year up on the mountain where the park let's us do burnouts and doughnuts (professional drivers and actually closed road), Greg and I raced. My Roadster beat his supercharged Lotus Exige on both tries. Greg and I are both doing some upgrades on our cars this year so there's going to be a rematch!

Anyway, doing the 'drag races' to about 60 mph was a lot of fun so if others want to join in this year, we can make a game of it!

We're booked and look forward to seeing everybody there!!

Update!!!
Nicole, kids and I will be arriving Thursday afternoon and will be poolside for pizza and fireworks. I just firmed everything up with the hotel the tent is going up thursday and I will be out there Fri am for people to register.

Please check in with me under the tent on arrival. I will be collecting the reg fees and the orders for the box lunches

It doesn't matter if your staying at the fort or not the lawn is for our event so please feel free to leave your car there.

The meet and greet dinner is Friday night at the hotel.

Run is at 10:00 AM SHARP!!! We wait for no one so be ready to go!
The first leg of the run will take us up 9n all the way to elizabethtown. Eggelfield ford was nice enough to clear their lot for us again this year. Most people will need to gas up so this is your spot. I will set a couple of routes back for the people that just want to head back and relax and the people that want a longer run.
