Type 65 Coupe Fuel Fill Install

I am new to the forum as well. I wanted to share a little info on work I just performed yesterday. I installed the fuel filler cap and hose on my Type 65 project and wrestled will the FFR supplied rubber fuel hose. I cut the hose to different lengths and lub'd it but still couldn't get the hose installed. I wrestled with it for about an hour and half with no luck. So I went to an auto parts store and bought a GATES fuel filler hose (part #24712), it has a 45 degree formed angle, cut it to length and installed it in about 10 minutes. Installing the GATES hose was so much easier then tying to install the FFR supplied hose. Thought this may help other folks with Type 65 Coupes. Hope this is useful.
