    Clearance under front splitter?

How much ground clearance do you have under the leading edge of your front splitter? Mine sticks out ~4.5 in from the nose of the car and with my ride height and rake angle my splitter is only 2.75 in off the ground! My thought is that's not enough. Just looking for comparisons to what others are running.

    Thanks!

I have been fooling around with ride height + or - 1/2 inch since I added my front bar. I am at 2 7/8 with my current ride height.

These photos were with a 1/2" taller front tire.

Not quite level on my car. Between 3 1/2 and 4 1/4 at the front corners.

Running the suggested 215x40x17 up front and 255x35x18 out back on FFR rims.

I can get ~ 3.5 inches clearance to the frame at the front of the foot well if I preload the front springs but then with the body work, rake angle and splitter its much lower at the leading edge. I am running ~ 3 in. at the frame right now after corner balancing.

I may switch to the S shock mounting holes to give me more height.

We are running 15" wheels up front to get the car low enough, and we still have 2.5" clearance for the splitter.
