I haven't heard anything new. I think maybe they've gone dark.

Believe me, when I hear ANYTHING you'll know!

i am interested in seeing what this car will look like. The chassis and build process are sound from the gen 3 Daytona coupe. It is really about what FFR invest in the body and interior. I am interested to see what FFR learned from the 818. they made a gen2 of the 818 pretty fast. i would like to think that they would be better prepared after the 818 to release a new style car on the gen 3 Dayton coupe package. I know the 818 is a budget build I just hope they don’t do a modular body like they did with the 818. I looking forward to see the car and details and the project release date.

What ever it is I'm sure it will be a good looking car.

I just hope that All Of The Wheel Openings Are Properly Centered when they build this sucker!

Also, I am likely the Only Dude who shortened his wheelbase just to make the rear wheels were centered within the arches.

Maybe on a MK 3 or 4 but several of us did that by 1" on the 33 HR then FF moved it 1/2" on their 33 with the IRS and tall tires but it's still
1/2" off. That kind of small detail makes me nearly as crazy as Da Bat.

But not crazy enough to drop a chevy in a FF, It has to be at least a 426 Hemi or it's just a boat anchor

i honestly hope he takes the c5/c6 suspension engine/trans layout. There are many many examples available that would absolutely be a great way to build with the transmission in the back just like a c5/c6 layout.

Leave room for a super charger on a Coyote under the hood and an easy auto trans fit.

So do we have to wait another year for the big reveal before there are any details released? I don’t know I could last that long....

Yeah, bit disappointing that they "announced" it then no show at SEMA. I guess they had a lot going on otherwise.

Since they've already done this with the Type 65 Coupe which the GTF is based on, unless they have drastically lowered the hood line on the GTF, it will work fine.

    Duke,

How about this offering from Mercury Racing as a Base Engine option:

It too was born from the LS platform.

    Lol!
    $30-$55k for that??
You could bolt an Audi or even lambo V10 in for less.

Would be nice if they released what the options are so I can start collecting parts.
