    Important Tool Warning

    I had no idea that drill bits should not be used to sweep ashes! Thanks, Harbor Freight, for warning me!

    818S/C : Chassis #25 with 06 WRX 2.5 turbo, ABS, cruise, PS, A/C, Apple CarPlay, rear camera, power windows & locks, leather & other complexities. Sold 10/19 with 5,800 miles.
    Mk3 Roadster #6228 4.6L, T45, IRS, PS, PB, ABS, Cruise, Koni's, 17" Halibrands, red w/ silver - 9K miles then sold @ Barrett-Jackson Jan 2011 (got back cash spent).

    I think somewhere in the depths of China, some guy was drilling Magnesium and he decided to use a spare drill to "sweep chips" and BOOM ! it blew him all the way to America !

    Have fun with those harbor freight drill bits... the warning should say "Do not use to drill holes"

    Okay, I know this is not the intended topic for this thread, but I do need to say that Harbor Freight sells what they call Contractor Bits, which are double sided 1/8" bits in packs of 10. They are without a doubt the best bits I found for drilling the hundreds of holes in the aluminum that we all must do! They are inexpensive, handy (since you just flip them around when they get dull and you are back in business) and work very, very well. I do suspect however that you shouldn't sweep ashes with them either! :-)
