So is this system for sale now? What's all available for options and what not?
We've got a few people interested in this exhaust, any other interest?
I need an exhaust system but I can't tell what you are offering after reading through this thread. I need to account for the upcoming FFR trunk and probably a cat and an O2 sensor. Options, prices and lead times would help me decide where to buy what I need.
818S/C : Chassis #25 with 06 WRX 2.5 turbo, ABS, cruise, PS, A/C, Apple CarPlay, rear camera, power windows & locks, leather & other complexities. Sold 10/19 with 5,800 miles.
Mk3 Roadster #6228 4.6L, T45, IRS, PS, PB, ABS, Cruise, Koni's, 17" Halibrands, red w/ silver - 9K miles then sold @ Barrett-Jackson Jan 2011 (got back cash spent).
I'm interested, just waiting for final product, options, and pricing.
We should have some more final pricing this week. We will post again soon with info!
I'm interested in the race system you're putting together. I'd like to see a more complete list of options, specifically the race muffler(s) and firm pricing on these.
It looks and sounds great! I love how simple it is. I'm sure it is super light too!
I am interested. Looking forward to more info. drd racing
Reviewing multiple options now for these exhausts, hopefully we will have an updated pricing list for you all later today!
Good Afternoon FFR Community! We finally have the official options for you!
The base exhaust system is $175.00, you can purchase this by itself if you would like.
With the way the system is designed you can only choose one option, either a cat or a muffler. However if someone wanted to custom design something ON THEIR OWN, we would be glad to sell it to them with both. Easy Clamp Seals are at the bottom of the list, you will need 2 per exhaust system. Exhaust tips are not included due to the numerous options available (burnt tip, dual tip, slash tip, etc, etc). We will be taking a 10 group buy in, this will go on for a MONTH, or whichever comes first. IE: if 10 people get an exhaust in 10 days then the exhaust buy in will be closed.
Once 10 people have paid in full, the exhaust will ship in two weeks. In some cases the options (cat, mufflers, etc) may arrive before the exhaust.
Please PM us with any questions, we will be glad to assist you!

how many o2 bungs per system>?
A well stocked beverage fridge is the key to any successful project.
Looks nice, how is it supported? Also, what are the main differences between the street and race mufflers? Any pics with a muffler installed? Thanks!
I would like to see pics of it with a street muffler installed, mounting pics, and the location of the o2 bung with that setup.
I want one, my only question is if you get a muffler how does the system run? Just straight out the back? Or is there bends to curve it down out one side? Just curious on the routing. I'm in for a basic system at very least.
That's cool, is the license plate going underneath?
I like the symmetry of that.
Still not sure what direction I want to go it. I'm going to share a photo I've been hanging onto though. It's a lotus Exige GT3 racer. I've thought of cutting out the entire space between the lights and adding mesh. Instead of a square/straight edge cutout I want to follow the contours of the lights. With that exhaust you can leave a small center ring intact. I think it would look cool. It means I need to move my license plate though.
Imagine this with the top centered exhaust like AJW's.
However, I've thought of relocating the plate lower (like you did) except making a diffuser mount, cutting off the bottom of the bumper, and mounting the plate to the diffuser mount like so:

Given how expensive exhaust systems can be, this is a steal! Geat job!
Just so I understand this correctly, are you saying you can slip-on the 5" race muffler or that you'll only be offering a weld-on option for the 5" race muffler?
EDIT: Sorry, I went back and read the options list and your post. I think you meant that with the dual-tip version shown you would only have room for the 5" muffler (likely welded in somewhere). Correct?
Let me know. I think I'm super close to going this route.

What are the possible mesh outlet options? I'm guessing straight out the center is out of the question due to the trans.
Not sure if anyone has asked this question yet but I'm looking for a system similar to your double center exhaust tip but split further apart as in the blue car in this picture.
And I am looking for a street muffler - tough sounding, but not annoying.

You can see that the dual exhaust tips are faked in I think as the real exhaust exits out the right hand lower quarter panel.
I love the look of the dual tips exiting out the back.
So base exhaust plus 3 in x 12 in L resonator - split into two exhaust tips.....???

The exhaust that is on OUR 818 is not the production variant of this exhaust. The production model twists a bit more to create a closer to 90 degree angle providing a longer straight section of piping.
The exhaust is designed to be cut, where you would like, and allow a slip on muffler, or cat. That is why the options list only give you the ability to get one or the other but states that the slip joints are needed.
tmoretta, the 5 inch race muffler is in the above options list.
GUNS, you could route this exhaust however you wanted.
Harley 818, the options are endless. If you wanted to fabricate the exhaust like that then it is possible, but you would need to do so yourself. I am sure with our exhaust as a base you could either find, or do some welding yourself and work on something like this.

Looking to get a new video out this week showcasing some options for you all! We are still taking pre-orders for the exhaust. We're currently sitting at 3 members but we need 10! Remember this exhaust is all stainless steel and fully modular starting at only $175.00!!!
Can you figure out a way to do dual exhaust looped around transmission? Then you would have something unique
I'd love to see a video showcasing the options. I'm a bit hesitant right now because of the lack of explanation of how modular it is. In my mind, modular means you can bolt-on/slip-on anything you want without modification or welding. You just buy any combination of pieces and they will work together to achieve the end result. Is this what you are offering? Hopefully the video will answer this for all of us.
So was it ever confirmed that it will clear the trunk?

818 s (with r windscreen ) 350 rwhp. Registered and street legal (SOLD)
We will probably not be able to take the time to do this since we are wrapping up out 818 now, however with our kit as a base you could easily get some more 3inch piping and design something that would work.
As far as being modular, we would consider it modular for this type of vehicle. All that is required is to measure where you want the muffler or cat. Once measured you would simply cut the section out and install your muffler or cat with the supplied slip joint clamps. You would do the same with any exhaust tip you choose and you would have a fully customized exhaust. As you stated, you just need to buy any combination of pieces together to achieve the end result.
The reason we did not make the exhaust pre-cut is so that folks who want a straight pipe can have that. This is pretty popular amongst the Subaru crowd.
I belive we talked earlier, but no... this will most likely NOT work with a FFR trunk. We did not have access, nor did we know that they we're making one when we started to develop this exhaust.

It probably would work with trunk. The trunk kit is pretty shallow.
One more question.would it clear my awic mount?
