Data, how did you get the throttle petal to fit?

I just squished it under the frame. I clamped the firewall tightly to the frame before I riveted it down, and the mat isn't that thick.

I didn't like GM's pedal mount, so I made my own out of steel sheet, and mounted the pedal to the pedalbox frame. This gave me flexibility in moving the whole pedal up/down, and in/out from the firewall to fit in with the brake/clutch pedals. You can bend the metal arm connecting the pedal to the module to move the pedal left/right some if you need. This method also meant I didn't have to chop up my trans tunnel to fit the pedal in, but your fitment may vary from mine depending on how much foot room you need.
If you really bent up the metal arm on the pedal, you could possibly mount the module outside the pedalbox vice inside like i did it.

Wow, That looks great. I will try that on mine. I have already cut the tunnel, but that shouldn't hurt anything.
