Whats their lead time? So that's just trans Price? What's the part about the clutch mean?
From what I understand talking with both Ian at Mendeola and with customers, the lead time is around 6-12 months depending upon any options.
One of the great things about the Mendeola is that all the stock Vette stuff is used, so clutch, starter, etc are all reasonably cheap and very much available no matter where you are, so long as it is in the Untied States.
Yeah, the cheaper of the two has decent gear ratios, but they make it sound like you need some special clutch.
I'll call them and ask. vette clutch and starter would be great.
Out of curriosity, did they give a reason for what makes up the long lead times?

Some say, that I only know two facts about ducks, (both being wrong); and that if I could be bothered, I could solve the "da Vinci Code" in 47 seconds...
All I know is that I'm called "The Stig".

I have one of the early ones used the corvette fly wheel and clutch, but had to buy a mini starter. I believe the new ones use the corvette starter. It took about ayear and a half to get mine. Very nice unit.
Mike and all,
What has been taking so long is we are now manufacturing the Gear stack in house.
We have had to purchase and modify machines to make the gears and all the gear related components.
I am happy to say we have the production and quality control under our care now.
