Customer Ed Seagrott’s Stunning ‘33 Featured in Street Rodder!

Congratulations to Factory Five customer Ed Seagrott and Fred Hemmings of FWH Customs Restorations from Nassau, New York for their great work on a truly stunning Factory Five ’33 Hot Rod. Ed’s car is featured in this month’s (February 2015) “Street Rodder Magazine” which is on the newsstands now.

You may remember Ed’s car from our Summer Open House where he earned “Best in Show”. “Street Rodder’s” Brian Brennan profiles the custom mods and super-clean assembly of Ed’s car. Ed has seven (!) original 1930s original Fords and built his Factory Five 1933 to be truly period-correct. The number of really cool custom mods is tremendous, and the attention to detail is extreme. Pick up a copy of “Street Rodder Magazine” to read more about Ed’s car. and here are a few studio photos from our our good friend Dino Petrocelli.

Congrats to Ed and crew, and huge thanks to Brian Brennan and the folks at “Street Rodder Magazine”.

Ed Seagrott (left) and the crew from FWH Customs Restorations.

Ed’s car uses full fenders with a removable hard top so that he can roll as a roadster in the summer.

Ed powers his Ford with a Ford crate engine making close to 400 HP.

Fred Hemmings did the paint work, final assembly, and many of the custom mods like this killer glove box and period correct dash layout.

This cowl vent is pure custom and fully functional.

The front end bumper horns and lights are all period-correct.

This car is amazing, the number of 34 only items added to make it truly unique.

Absolutely inspiring. One of the best examples I've seen of glass work lately.
