The motor mounts on my 302 engine have one bolt that goes thru the frame on both sides but the frame has three holes and I would like to use the correct one the first time . Any help here would save me a lot of fiddling

Do you have the motor mounts? If so, you'll see which holes to use. There is a left and right mount, and they only go one way. One of the holes in the chassis is a slot for a matching pin in the motor mounts.

I have the motor mounts and they have just one bolt and there are no pins the drivers side of the frame has three holes two elongated and one round the passenger side has two holes when I set the engine into the frame I would like to set the engine in its correct orientation and not have to futz with it
