    heater vent ducts

How on earth do you fit the heater hose over the screen vent duct? There's two barbs that retain the hose, I get that. And it works for the round connections on the heater, but do you think I can get them on, and stay on? It's getting to the point where I may not install screen demisters. If the damn thing came disconnected when the car is finished there's no easy way to reconnect!

I've decided the supplied vent ducts/boots are unusable. There must be someone here that's run into the same problem? What did you do to solve?

I used the supplied defrost ducts but had to modify them to work. The passenger side was extensively modified to fit around the glove box. On the drivers side I modified it by heating the hose attach end with a heat gun and flaring the end slightly. To keep the hose attached I used a zip tie above the flare.
