    SBC and Power Steering

The manual says to change the clock position of the PS motor for a SBC install but it does not say by how much. I also called FF5 and they basically said to figure it out once the engine is in. Can anybody here advise me and post a couple pics of how you clocked the PS motor for the SBC install?

    Thanks,

    Craig

I just finished setting my SBC in and had to rotate the PS module downwards a bit. Managed to fit it in by just stretching the holes a bit, so I didn't actually drill any new holes. Just leave the top bolt in and hang it loose while you drop the engine in and figure out how much you need to rotate it after. You want to drop it down as little as possible because you don't want it hanging too much lower than the oil pan since these cars don't have too much ground clearance. I'll see if I can track down some pictures.
