    Kit Shipping Companies

For shipping a kit across country,
    Who to use, besides Stewart?

Why wouldn't you just use them?

I used FF to deliver mine, no complaints and their driver "Honey Badger" does a great job with helping unload the kit and getting it properly stowed away.

I used Stewart's for delivery to Seattle area and would use them again.

The negative was the no shipment visibility & slow communication. The positive was their delivery service and no shipping damage. Their delivery service is outstanding: they matched delivery time to my availability, they offloaded the chassis, loose parts, boxes and helped me move them into the garage (no extra fees involved)...and a pleasant driver.

Compare this with the shipping company who delivered my crate engine: fair shipment visibility, no damage, but inflexible delivery schedule (specify the day, but not the time window), wanted extra fees for a lift to move engine to ground and another extra fee to move the crate into the garage...and a grumpy driver.
