Hi Everyone,

Before his untimely passing my father was building a Type 65 Coupe and was not THAT far from completion. The car ran, drove, and was more or less done structurally and mechanically (or so he said), and the body had a coat of paint on it, but the trim work, final assembly, paint, and whatever other finishing touches needed to complete the car are still needed.

Unfortunately I am not as mechanically inclined as he was so I need to outsource the completion and I thought what better place to turn than the forum for some advice on how best to accomplish this as well as reasonable cost expectations.

In closing the estate the car spent a little bit of time outside partially covered, and then I’ve had it garaged for the balance of the previous two years. I think I have all the parts that he didn’t install, and as I said the car ran prior to sitting all this time. It needs to be brought back to running condition, assembly completion, trim work, paint, perhaps treated for exposure to the elements, and final assembly. So I guess what I’m looking for is to be pointed in the direction of somebody or perhaps a garage that specializes in this sort of thing that I could hire to complete this job, and if anybody could provide a ball park on what I’ll need to spend to finish it then that would be helpful as well.

I’m in the Miami area so the closer the better. Thanks everyone for your time.
