Trying to achieve a 20 year dream
After waiting 20 years to build my Roadster I am finally ready to dive in. I restored my first car, a Jeep Commando, in high school and have since done two Mustangs and two Impala convertibles. I currently own nine cars, hence the username.
I recently completed build school. It was incredible. The instructors, Todd and Scott, were very knowledgeable and gave me enough tips in the first day to justify the three day commitment. It was great to work on a car with the body off to better understand all of the systems.
I will either rescue a stalled build or order a kit in the next month or so. The shop is ready and I can't wait to get started!
Thank you to everyone who has already helped me. I am looking forward to being an active member of this forum and the Cobra community

Welcome! Sounds like you are no stranger to spinning wrenches. Best of luck.

As ScottieC Stated, "Welcome!"
I think starting from scratch will be your best option; however, picking up a stalled project could save you a fair amount of cash.

Welcome aboard. I also went to the build school last month and yes, Todd and Scott are awesome. Good luck on your build.
