no covers and you really can't see it much either. You do see the cut outs for the door hinge in the body.

X2 on David W's answer. Cut the doors exactly like the Factory Five instructions show, and the frame will just tip through. The frame and hinges stick through it some, so it's not like the only thing you see there is a gaping hole. Agreed it's barely noticeable on the completed car. The hinge holes into the body are another story. Those are completely visible, and the dimensions from Factory Five are generous IMO. I took it very slowly and only made them as big as they needed to be. And leave the edges square and clean. Once painted will look OK.
