Rick and Tommy build some awesome cars and at a pace and detail so you can follow along and dream that you could cut, fabricate, weld and paint like them. I loved the FX Comet! Can't wait to see the FFR car and later the full episode on TV. I suspect those episodes it will be taped and DVRd by every upcoming FFR owner.

We'll make the trip up. Come on Al, you're still part of the Family.

I'm out of town that week but I'll try my best to change my schedule so that I can be back early enough to be there. Sounds like a great time.

Can a newbee that wants to be a FFR customer come...? Do I have to park across the street and walk over?
    Thanks, Mark

Mark, please do come! I don't have any idea how the evening will be set up, but I suspect the customer's cars will be available for pondering, perusing, pictures and questions. Chance to see options, colors, cockpits and engines. All important things to a newbee as we all once were. Come on and try MARIAH on for size.

I have a logistics question. With all the planned activities and attendance what kind of parking plans are there? At best that location has 100 parking spots and with the FFR truck, the film crews and their stuff plus who knows what else it is going to get more than a little tight for space.

I can answer that. The way the event is configured, the parking area is for FFR cars (and the original 427 we're bringing). The places holds crowds all the time and there is nearby parking, BUT we are not really inviting the general public (no radio announcements, etc) really just the FFR community, owners, fans, etc. The FFR big rig will be over at Zmax dragway or Lowes and we'll drive the cars to the cruise-in.

I have a small concern about crowds, but the manager of the Quaker Steak and Lube assured me that they handle NASCAR events and much bigger draws than little old Factory Five... We'll have a BLAST either way. Special thanks to Jeff at Whitby for doing the legwork!

Unfortunately, mine is still not on the road but I'll plan on being there. Being painted, hopefully, right now.

This is a popular site for stuff like this. They should be able to handle it.

Cool, Devon has a game Friday, so Suzy will be with her. The weather forecast is perfect so hopefully we'll have a good game and a good cruise in. See you all Friday.
    Thanks

The plans are coming together! I threw my Coupe in the truck at the last minute and so I have my own ride (apart from these movie guys and the two roadsters). Cheney will show off his GTM and the original car owned by Jim Maxwell will be there as well! Looking forward to a great fun cruise-in and seeing some FFR's representing!

The video guys are touchy about crowds and noise, so the filming in the afternoon at the raceway and at Tascas Funny car shop is closed (very very sorry). That's why we decided to do the cruise-in, because while a director may be distracted trying to get film of a slalom with 50 FFR cobras buzzing around, these guys (RTM productions) have NO IDEA the FFR community and we'll be filming at the cruise-in for three hours.
