    Large blacktops for testing?

I'm looking for a place I can take my go-kart and test it out thoroughly - but relaxed and not worrying about the cops

I'm going to call around some small local airports and see if I can find a car guy.. but any other ideas? Large parking lots - schools, etc - but presumably they are private property, no trepassing, and unlikely to be car guys? Small race tracks?

Have wide spaces seems better, can test cornering, etc.

I'm NW Austin, Manor, if anyone knows spots around here, but more wondering about ideas, what you've done, etc.

We live in one of those.. over the main road from me is a huge area with all the roads in, but no houses. Very Tempting!!

Go for it man! I'm betting this is your best choice in this area.

I didn't have the nerve to drive out and over the main road into the new paved neighborhood, but I did drive down to our mailbox at the other end of our very quiet and out-of-the-way neighborhood. Slowly! But I did get into 2nd.
