    FIA Challenge Series Racer?

It appears that sometime in the not-too-distant future there will be an FIA-bodied MKIV:

My question is, would it be feasable to have an FIA run with the Challenge series in 2013?

Do the bodies have to be identical, or do you think they could run together? I can't think of anything cooler than watching both body styles competing in the same series! If it could happen, you could probably get me to commit to building an FIA challenge series racer. Already there is a firm pledge from Igofastr over on ClubCobra.

    Waddya think? Could it happen?

Unless it has a full cage the answer would be no, but could run in SCCA Vintage with the other challenge cars that run there and as long as it met the safety standards there wich is lower than the other classes of racing.

I dont see why this could not happen.
I mean they went from the mk2 body to the mk3 .... No difference
now from the mk3 to the mk4 ................................no difference
so they have already used 3 different body styles in the series why not the FIA as long as it fits all the other rules
I love the idea and that is what I tryed to do last year but Dave backed out of letting me have the Fia I was inline to get.
I have also been trying openly to get the coupe into the series So the people who want a full cage can run that.
    I can just imagine
both style FFr roadsters and the coupe all running at the same time SWEET.

I agree. I would love to run a coupe, and I also love the FIA look!
