    Quick Gen2 coyote wiring question

I'm opening up the wire loom on the coyote harness in order to relocate the starter wire. There are a few wires in that leg of the harness (outlined in red). "N" is the starter lead that I want to pull out and route differently. "O" is the cooling fan lead that I will run forward to the Maradyne fan controller. "M" is listed in the Ford controls pack instruction sheet as EPAS connections. Am I correct in assuming I don't need these and can diet them out, or is there some other use for these wires?

    Thanks,
    John

Like so many things with these cars, the answer is "it depends". If you have a Hot Rod or Truck, then you probably used the Honda alternator. In that case you can use the yellow wire (marked 12 V Key On) to excite (correct term?) the alternator. If you are using the Ford alternator then all 3 EPAS wires are not needed and can be dieted back as far as you want - just be sure to cap the ends with heat shrink or similar. HTH Keith HR #894

Well Duh! I should have looked at your signature line to see that you had a Roadster... Sorry, slowing down in my old age .
