This is passage that has always given me comfort and peace during anxious times. I share it with you that perhaps you too will find comfort.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7

Prayers for you, for a successful surgery and rapid recovery.

Got tired of just sitting around doing nothing. I went in the garage with my bag, wearing boxers, a sweatshirt and socks. Hung the bag on a tool chest and painted two support blocks for an overhead gantry/hoist.

I did keep the garage door closed

Post op completed. Removed a 5cm tumor. Now have to undergo routine inspections every three months for two years. A most undesirable experience now awaits me. Very depressed.

Don't let it get you down! I had to deal with something similar a few years ago. Attitude counts for a lot. The best advice I got from a friend was a dinky little plaque that read "Be Fierce". It completely changed my perspective on the experience.

And when the surgeon let me drive again I discovered just how invigorating a good squirrely second gear pull can be.

    Be well, and Be Fierce.
