Dropped hood vent?
I know there's a lot of different ways to vent the front of the car, from a functional as well as an aesthetic standpoint. I've seen all the different vent setups and configurations.
My question is.... is there any reason you can't do a drop in style vent (i.e. GT40) instead of the flush screen or louver vents?

Yes, something like that. I would probably do it shaped a bit different, but that concept.

It's just fiberglass, have at it. You could do your own design or graft in a Gt40 vent.
Here's an old thread about it, unfortunately the images have been lost to time...I attached some original images from the thread unnamed (1).jpgunnamed (2).jpg

If I go that route, it would either be a one piece hole like an old GT40 with a rounded front edge to match the nose contour, or triangular dual vent like on a Ford GT.
