The SoCal Roadster Communty has Lost a Member and Good Friend...

It is with a very heavy heart that I post this from the Ventura County Star Newspaper...

A Woodland Hills man, 28, died Sunday morning after a single vehicle collision the day before in Camarillo, officials said.

Scott Lomonaco crashed Saturday about 2:40 p.m. near south Highway 101 and Dawson Road, officials said. The vehicle spun out and rolled down an embankment, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Lomonaco died at 11:52 a.m. at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center, according to the Ventura County Medical Examiner's Office.

An autopsy is expected to be conducted on Monday, authorities said.

This is all we know at the present. I am sure that the community will keep us updated as more information is reported.

Scott, you are at peace with your father now. May God bless you both!

I could not believe this. Last Sunday we had the Lomonaco run for John his father. Our prayers go out to the family.

    Just read this last night.

I remember losing Dan Lawson in a Challenge race at Buttonwillow and how hard that was... Then last year Ray McEdward called to let me know about Jack Bolding, who was killed (and his daughter so badly injured) by a drunk driver crossing the middle line in a SUV… now this.

I am just devastated by this news and so heartsick for the family. Everyone at FFR is so down today. Just terribly terribly sad.
