    Recent Photos of 007

    My windscreen frame had cracked at the section joints, so it was welded and repainted over the winter. This is the first weekend back in Roadster form and the hard top is put away for the season.

    This first photo shows the new side vents we made this last winter in the engine panels:


    From straight on the side view, the vents aren't that noticeable. They really pump out the hot air when the radiator fan kicks in while sitting in traffic.




    Now that the serious heat wave has broken for a while, it's been a real pleasure to drive the '33 in the evenings. I need to check for some new "Cruise Nights" here in WI and take 007 out for dinner.

    The other "Winter" project for the car was cutting in those engine bay side vents. The Total Auto Body guys did the finishing work on them (as well as all the original body prep and painting). They're in Grafton, WI if anyone's looking for a good paint shop.
