    Deal of a lifetime

Somehow, against all the odds and prudes at the RMV, I scored this plate a while back.

I renewed it in september, and I have now sold the roadster. In Massachusetts, I can "give" the plate to another person by signing an authorization for the registry to reissue it. So, if anybody wants it, PM me by Sunday. I want whoever gets it to do the swap and put it on their car immediately so I can cancel my insurance.

If you don't get any one that wants it, I'll take it.

Ray, I have to assign it to someone in Mass who wants it or I have to turn it in. As long as it is "out there", I have to keep my insurance running.

Got it. It would be a cool addition to my collection.

    Thanks anyway,

I think Ray is talking about the License Plate(?)
I think oldguy668 is talking about re-assigning the License number.

Plate has to be turned back in so the number/wording can be reassigned.

Can we stick to someone from Massachusetts expressing interest in it. We do things a little differently than in California and Missouri.

I must be missing something. I fought the RMV tooth and nail to get them to issue this plate. I am amazed nobody in Mass wants to use it. I am assuming that everyone on this forum knows what an "asp" is. My insurance agent is holding it for the weekend and if nobody wants to do the transfer, back to the RMV they go.
