Russ Thompson turn signal wiring
I started wiring the Russ Thompson turn signal last weekend, and everything went pretty smooth although I do have a few questions on one thing.
I used the schematic shown below, and on the on the 4 count terminal connector next to the "blue" connector from the RF harness it shows a black wire that says: "To headlight switch feed 2"
Questions:
1. Is this supposed to be an existing wire or a new wire I need to make?
2. What gauge wire should I used if it is a new wire?
3. I used 18gauge wire for all the other connections and loops is that sufficient?
Thanks for the help,
John

John I don't have the RT turn signal switch (wish I did) but I do have the RF harness and the wiring diagram shows that the head light switch has two RED wires labeled HDLT SW 1 FEED and HDLT SW 2 FEED. Take a look at the wires and match the gauge. I would guess 14 gauge. I recommend you get on the RF website and ask a tech question about the gauge wire. Wish I could be more help.
