Planning my next build and would like to use hydra boost power breaks, is this possible with a 302 engine set-up?
If so what are the pros and cons of this install?
Does anyone have pictures?

Hydroboost is not specific to any engine type. It's strictly another method of providing power assist to the braking system. In the case of hydroboost, via fluid pressure provided by a hydraulic pump. Same as hydraulic power steering, and in fact often used along with power steering and can use the same pump. Typically engine driven. I've had two builds with power brakes. One vacuum assist, the other hydroboost. To be honest, can't tell the difference. If you have room and a decent vacuum signal from the engine, vacuum power is simpler to install and cheaper. In either case, if you're using the now pretty common Wilwood pedal box, it takes some modification plus you will lose the front/back balancing setup in the Wilwood pedal box.
This is the hydroboost unit in my Mk4 Roadster, before it was plumbed:
This is the only picture I could find showing it completed and plumbed. Bottom RH corner. Three hoses: Two high pressure, one low pressure.

What is the cost for the hydroboost setup with power steering?

I'm not sure if you asking how much to add hydroboost to a car that already has power steering. Or to add both power steering and hydroboost. Either way, there's no easy answer. There are just too many variables. Costs are going to be all over the place. These guys have all the hydrboost stuff. http://www.hydratechbraking.com/. Really good stuff, but high end and pricey. Mike Forte has hydroboost parts. You could call him. Or you could go the salvage route. Probably the most economical.
