Nice little article. Hard to believe that car has been racing for 10 years! Too bad MyRaceShop didn't make the vendor list, but the car livery was nice and big

The season was off to a great start for the FFR PDG GTM with a fast qualifier run, and second on the starting grid to a $600,000 LMP car. We qualified 4 seconds faster than our next in class modified GT3 Cup Porsche. We started the race well and had pulled out over a 1 lap lead within the first 30 minutes of the 3 hour race, but at about hour 1 we had an issue with the rear pinion bearing in the transaxle. Still not sure what the cause was as the bearing was replaced at the last service and only had about 1.5 hours total time on it, but we will, obviously, be looking into what may have caused this and will be adjusting things. We don't know for sure, but sometimes with a dog ring box a chunk of dog can break loose and then create havoc within the gearbox. Hoping the damages are light, but the next race is less than a month away, so we need to get crackin!
More to come, and videos will be posted shortly.
BTW- We qualified at a 1:24.021 on Big Willow. We always thought the FFR PDG GTM should be in the 1:23s and we are almost there. A bit more spring and sway bar adjustments and I think we will be there.

Nice write up; I've seen those photos before in one of your other threads. Are the tail lights functional? I thought you were required to have working brake lights?

They are functional...and not cheap. About $400 for the set, and I can no longer find replacements.
