MK4 #9121 - Complete kit - Stroked 351, T5x, 3.55 Rear End, 3-Link - Pickup 6/17/17, 1st start 12/2/17, Go-Kart 12/9/17, Road Worthy 4/27/18
- Aluminum door sill kick plate will work.
- I used it for my under dash support, which holds my speakers, fuse block assembly and my radio too.
- You just need a sheet metal brake to make your parts which can be purchased at Harbor Freight.
- Hope this helps.

This is the brake that I have and it works well for small stuff:

I think what you are looking for is a "console" As far as I know, no one is making one for the Cobra. Very simple to make though. I made patterns out of cardboard to get the shape I wanted. Then transferred it to aluminum.

I don't quite get what you mean..like a panel to go between the tranny cover, and the lower dash?
In my opinion, radio is fairly useless, when your out cruising, although I guess if you want to park, and watch the submarine races with a girlfriend..The sound of the side-pipes are music to my ears..
An under-dash panel is a good spot for a couple switches. I used a piano hinge to attach it to the frame, (so the dash can still be dropped down), and attached it to the dash lip. It helps make the dash much more solid too. No bending required.
If this is what you are looking for Whitby has pre-made panels that rivet together or you can bend your own. Box is just 3 sides & easy to make.

i have the same thing in craigs second link. I ordered it from amazon.
A local Marine store. A well equipped Marine store has lots of things useful for our builds. Stainless steel machine screws, nuts, and washers, were one thing I made really good use of. Stainless steel screw finish bezels for door trim and dash, etc. They also have various rubber watertight, wire harness pass thru's, various lights, fuse holders (as seen in my picture), sealants, adhesives, etc..
Thanks to all.
