Interesting story: I have always wanted to build a kit car and after doing a massive amount of research, it led me to Factory Five; specifically, for the GTM. I started a YouTube channel named Street Rod Jim so when I built a car it would be on the channel. In the long run, I decided I am going to build a 33 Hot Rod V2 instead, powered by a LS engine and 4L65e transmission. But, all the research I did on GTM/C5 Corvettes/LS engines is now vlogged on the YouTube channel including topics of how to find a corvette to part out, where to find LS engines to rebuild etc.. And since the C5 corvette has the same basic power train I was going to use, and I was caught up in all my research, I actually found and bought a C5 Corvette I could not pass up. A 2003 Anniversary Edition in great shape. Of course it was too nice to part out, so I actually restored it even more along with a rebuild of another LS engine for the 33.

Once you are on the Street Rod Jim channel, you can browse the videos and playlist for the GTM/Corvette/LS research. I hope it can help any potential people looking to build a GTM or LS Engine by saving them time in research, showing another perspective and seeing what is involved. Of course, I would love to have you follow along the 33 Hot Rod V2 vlog too if you are interested.
