This is going real slow. With a fender car FFR made it a lot of work to pull engine, and some of my mods don't help. Was going to just pull engine (and it would work) but the rear seal was leaking so going to pull all. The water lines and fuel lines are not helping and trans tunnel is going to get changed. Dam more work to build some new parts.
IMG_8641.JPGIMG_8645.JPGIMG_8647.JPG
Not good. Looks as i had something in fuel line after filter that leaned out two cylinders, have not got injectors back yet.
This lead to more engine damage.
AED is building me an engine at this time.
Injectors are all good---- I am at a loss as to way these went lean.
I'd be looking in the tune, do they log the tunes for those motors?
Putting in seats. This is what i came up with to brace top back of seat.IMG_8654.JPGIMG_8657.JPGIMG_8662.JPGIMG_8664.JPGIMG_8669.JPGIMG_8670.JPGIMG_8673.JPG
no pics of the bottom bolts but had to make brackets for fram, pain in the ***, Do the seats you want first so you can do brackets first, after no room, no room.
ON new engine we are waiting on new piston oil squirters national back order.
The AC vents that came with unit came apart. So i got aluminium ones that go with dash, turns out they are not the same size. Had to make donuts for DS and med and weld & grind for PS in curve.IMG_8674.JPGIMG_8679.JPGIMG_8685.JPGIMG_8686 (1).JPG
Pics of my new engine are on AED facebook.
Do you have a link for the Facebook page?

Any one have info on Killer Chiller water cooler for air to water intercoolers?
Time to put car back together, with some mods.IMG_8688.JPGIMG_8690.JPG
IMG_8700.JPGIMG_8703.JPGIMG_8706.JPGIMG_8702.JPGIMG_8702.JPGIMG_8708.JPG\
Hope to put in tomorrow.
With help from my son and a friend we got the engine and trans in put together! Lot of work with all the wires and parts.IMG_8709.JPGIMG_8710.JPG
Headers and turbos and plumbing next.
Headers with stage8 bolts and locks, turbo parts- getting four V bands that have no give to line up is fun! Need one more oring to put the rest together.
Then intercoolerIMG_8713.JPGIMG_8714.JPG water pluming.
Ever thing engine wise is done, and primed engine with turbo oil line.IMG_8718.JPGIMG_8719.JPGIMG_8720.JPG
Talked to the killer chiller person and should have the unit end of next week, i hope!
Went to bleed clutch and can't get to pump up. Perty new but been undone for six months, any ideas?
Went to bleed clutch and can't get to pump up. Perty new but been undone for six months, any ideas?[/did you set up the hard stop on the clutch pedal? i hear you can mess up the bearing\cylinder if you don't set this up correctly ]
Yes on the tilton you need to have a stop on pedal so as to not over extend bearing.
Used a pump and got air out.
This is new cut out to take off trans top and unplug lockout and rear light, the the trans cover to start with uas to big. So had to make new cover.
On the water recovery tank i made it as close to mustang as i could, top of engine and top of radiator (no PSI cap) go to top of tank and bigger hose from bottom goes to water return to engine. Am waiting on neck and psi cap to put on tank. Hose from top of radiator is restricted.IMG_8723.JPGIMG_8724.JPGIMG_8726.JPG
Did not like the parking brake handle, so with welder and grinder and no other parts i made this.IMG_8729.JPGIMG_8730.JPG
Went to start engine and turns over but no go! No codes?
More checking wiring and so on.
Make sure you check your inertia switch if you used it as I forgot about mine when I tried to start it.
Found the problem, a bad wire on head temp and had the crank and cam plugs backwards. Did not think ford would use the same plug for both!
Coyote water setup does not use a cap on radiator, so i put a plug in overflow and put a fitting in top of tank for the bleed line. This seems to be working as ford setup.IMG_8734.JPGIMG_8735.JPGIMG_8737.JPG
Because i am going with the chiller setup i put in a intake temp sensor with warning light if temps go up, ( lose of AC or water)
Well i did the last thing i wanted, over extended my TOB! Dam this is going to be a lot of work.

IT was set for the same TOB but went with tilton twin disk clutch, so was thinking it would be good to start with! Owell almost ready to pull engine and trans.

My build: 350SBC, TKO600, hardtop, no fenders/hood, 32 grill, 3 link, sway bars, 355/30r19
Previous cars: GTD40, Cobra, tubeframe 55 Chevy, 66 Nova, 56 F100
OK got engine and trans out. The TOB collar is tight on trans tub, so i think that maybe the collar was not all the way tight to housing, making the setup
with to much room when collar moved back.IMG_8738.JPGIMG_8739.JPG
Will hone collar to fit better.
Well that collar was not round but the other one was good, i don't know if it was the cr or just to much peddle.
But we got it back to thisIMG_8740.JPG today and will get headers and turbos and the other parts on tomorrow.
I looked at just the trans but with the T56 it is to long and will not drop down to remove, so out with engine and trans.

All up and running, now waiting on the killer chiller.
OK got the killer chiller, all in good shape. This is what you get with the drag setup.135080[/ATTACH
Looking at how to set up for best use. As you all know there's very little room, and a lot of that is hot. Going to change the turbo and wastegate water from intercooler water to engine water, that will move lines up top for more room for ac and water lines under beside engine.
The ac hose and fittings are different car to chiller kit, having hard time finding fittings to mate the two. Looks as i will have to make the tees or adaptor fittings.
Custom is more time and money!
Got the water lines for wastegate and turbos done.DPP_car0002.JPGDPP_car0003.JPGDPP_car0004.JPGDPP_car0005.JPG
Wastegate water off deair fitting on engine and turbo water off top of radiator.
Been slow, but got the new water hoses (reduced barrier ac hose) in. Ran the cold side in cab thru fire wall then down in floor and between fram and body and inside fenders to pumps. IMG_8757.JPG Return lines under car.
Put chiller low with tanks on top, two lines into tank one out to chiller then into tank and out to pumps. Hose with fitting i made leaked so made over, looks to hold vacuum, if good will charge. Need to insulate tanks and some lines.IMG_8754.JPGIMG_8758.JPGIMG_8763.JPG
It seems that this has been harder than need be!
