Anyone know who built this beauty? I'd love to ask about the double roll bar....
They look kind of pointy to me, so my guess is that they're out of a Porsche Cayman or maybe a Mazda Miata? I have seen posts about adapting both of those to a Hot Rod in years past, but didn't save a link.
I also like the look of the dual roll bars - they apparently were an option on the very early Hot Rods, but haven't been available from FFR for years. I bought a set of roll hoops from a MK-4 owner and will be adapting them to my '33 to serve as head rest supports. That's one of the next tasks on my list (which never seems to get any shorter!).

Keith,
Thanks for the post. I'm not a fan at all of the one piece roll bar and would probably only use it if I was going the coupe, however, the double doesn't look so bad. I agree the points are a bit exaggerated but was wondering if that was a FFR modification or one needed to do it themself. I look forward to seeing how yours turns out.

Car belongs to Chuck Armstrong in Sedona Arizona. Great guy and incredible builder..da Bat
Mr Armstrong also uses a Porsche Cayenne to tow this FFR in his trailer. Which may explain the mirror source.
MK2 #3319.... On the road since 2002 with a lot of upgrades
Thanks For the comment Jeff. I hated the one piece roll bar that came with the kit and was tired of the Cobra style bars. Thought these were different.
