    Running boards and Fenders

So I am in the process of trial fitting running boards and fenders. He is my problem. If I place the running board 13” back from the cab like the manual says, attach the back fender and then attach the front fender. The front of the front fender Is way to far up the grill and the curve between the fender and the cowl is way out. Also as you can see in the side view pic I have taken the wheel is not centered in the fender well. If however I move the front fender forward about 1 1/2” it fits the cowl curve perfect. As a side note if you look at the pics in the truck gallery the tip of the front fenders are 12 bars up. By moving my fender forward I also have 12 bars from center. Anyways what this means if I move every thing forward the front fender fits and the wheel gets centered in the fender well. The only problem is is the rear fender is now about and inch forward of the rear of the truck. It does not look bad but I was wondering if anyone has have the same issue.

I found placing the rear fenders 11.5 inches behind the cab puts both front and rear wheels centered in fenders. That is my final location. I think it looks best.

Mine also looked similar to yours Jerry.

Moved them up around an inch too…plus I ‘flexed’ the rear fenders a bit forward also to pick up a bit more…
