    # link with 350# springs

Howdy all I have a MK1 with a 3 kink and 350# springs the ride is very stiff for me only used for street driving. I know people have gone down in spring rate 250 ,300 . Can anyone share there experience doing this did it effect handling ?
    Thanks Kato

I went UP to 500! Yes it will affect handling...the softer you go in the rear the more it will exacerbate the understeer that the factory spring rates cause.

Thank you Jeff As I understand it understeer is when the front of the car hits the wall oversteer is when the back of the car hit the wall. I know every car is different just looking for others experience and what they felt was the change with softer springs .
