Enclosed trailer size question

Would my finished car fit in a 7x16 enclosed trailer? I know an 8 or 8.5 is the way to go but i'm unable to find a place to rent one. I have an inspection with the police at the end of the month and with the weather here (slush, salt, cold), i don't want to chance it with an open one. I only found one person threw a friend that does this kind of enclosed transport and he is unavailable that day, go figure...

I've read about people fitting the Roadster in 14X7 trailers.. You should be good with 16X7, as long as you really do have a complete 7 foot width. You should have a few inches on each side and more than 18" at the front and back.

How far do you have to go? The 7' width might be an issue because of the wheel wells, which would mean you'd have to probably push it into the trailer or drive in and climb over the back to get out. The serpent express trailers are 82" wide according to the site.

The 16' shouldn't be an issue, it's more of a width.

If you don't have that far to go, you could wrap it in blankets to protect it, then put a tarp over those to keep the water out, and use a bigger open trailer.

EDIT: looked it up, my trailer is 8.5x16. You could probably get a roadster into a 7' wide trailer, but you'd need an "escape door" to get out of the car, or push it in.

That is correct, the place i found for a trailer is 6' 9" x16' ID
