New to the forum, looking for information
Hey guys,
I'm new to the forum and figured I would introduce myself. I've been interested in the FF GTM for a few years but I've never done any hardcore research into the platform or anything like that.
A little about me:
My real name is Wade.
I graduated from The University of Oklahoma in Spring of 2014 with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
In July 2014 I went to work for National Oilwell Varco within their Next-Generation Program. My semi-permanent location is in Houston Texas, but currently I'm in Lafayette Louisiana on a rotation until early January.
I own two vehicles; a 2014 Ram 1500 R/T that serves as my daily driver, and my 2008 Mustang Bullitt that I'm building into a race car.
My goal in joining the forum is to do as much research as possible on the GTM platform in the expectation of some day owning one. That day will likely be many years off, but I believe in being thorough with my investigations.
One of the biggest things I have been wanting to do is take a ride in a GTM and really see what it's like. Probably my biggest concern is my size: I'm a 6'4" former college football player, so I don't fit in very many small cars.
If there is anyone in the Houston or Lafayette area that has a GTM, I would love to meet you sometime and pick your brain on the car. The beers are on me.
Anyways, that's about all I can think of at the moment. I look forward to learning all I can from you guys!
