    Fixing the hole...

Calls to mind the Beatle's song... Nevertheless, I'm looking at this lovely hole:

It's the DS footbox front. Apparently, on donor builds, you might run the Mustang wiring through it.

Based on what I've seen and read, it just gets blocked off with a cover. I'm thinking of routing my brake reservoir lines through this hole. It seems (at least on the old forum) that there are differing opinions. What do you think? Plug it and make another hole for the 2 lines or use this for wiring and two brake hoses? (Yes, you are correct. I'm spending a lot of time thinking about routing lately...) Thanks for your input!

I had a cover plate and drilled a hole for the forward electrical harness. Used the other hole to run my brake and hydraulic clutch lines to the reservoir. I am happy with that arrangement.

I used it as a drivers side foot box vent.
Sorry my picture isn't very good, but you get the idea.

I did the same as Scott. Although mine is mostly a donor build, whatever went there I didn't do that way. I made a plate and used it for my forward harness. Lights, signals, fans and line lock wires came that way. Motor and gauge harness stuff I exited at the back near firewall in a hidden spot.
