Thoughts from those with experience
Speaking with another owner recently (not FFR) he suggested that I look into building my roadster both with A/C and a heater/defroster. I am in Texas (Houston area) and have no intentions of installing a roof on this car. It will be a fair weather only affair and I can't see how A/C on an open top roadster would be very beneficial. He said that the heater / defroster (mostly defroster) is useful in keeping the glass clear, but has anyone installed these? Do you cut oval openings for defroster vents?
He also suggested upgrading to power brakes (I opted for Wilwoods front and rear). FFR said that they stop plenty well without power assist, he disagreed.
FFR also suggested power steering whereas the fellow I spoke to advised against it.
Thanks in advance for any thoughts on these issues.
