Reached another milestone today. Many thanks to J Miller and Jeff Kleiner for answering my questions about painting my car. It had been about 18 years since I last painted an airplane. Color is Indigo Ink / GM Artic White stripes. Came out pretty good. Just need to cut and buff and it should be great! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Holy Cow. That's beautiful. I have 9457 and I'm nowhere close to fitting the body for the first time, let alone painted. Those colors are beautiful.

If I was gonna do blue, and almost did, that would be it. Gorgeous and very good job.

J.Miller, How right you are!!! I can honestly say I think I have more man hours in the body fitting, body work, prep, sanding, sanding, sanding, and more sanding, and finally painting than I have in building my engine and assembling the chassis. I did get so involved in it that I forgot my wedding anniversary Still trying to recover from that. She's says now that I'm about finished, I have to build her one.

Thanks Steve. Are you a member of the Raleigh Area Cobra Club? Joined the email list last summer. I'm sure I'll drive over for some of the meetings.

Louis-
Yes, I am on the e-mail distribution list. I have not been to any meetings yet, mostly because my build is still in progress, and I would like to have a finished car to bring.

Steve
