That's just a bummer! I hope you've avoided the damage, in return for work and stress.
For my part, picked up 24" x 36" copies of the RF electrical schematics and some masonite sheets to mount them on yesterday, to get ready for the next deep dive into something I know nothing about.
This morning, snuck out to the garage before work to inspect all the brake lines after adding brake fluid and bleeding brakes over the weekend ... no brake fluid showing anywhere, so ready to move on.

Made a front license plate bracket. Yes, I know ... but it's the law. Besides, I had extra sheet metal left over from the build. E547A22B-B914-4E59-8B51-463A723C1B6D.jpeg
Gave it a good cleaning. (got caught in the rain last weekend and it was a mess) I'm afraid my season may be over and I have to put it away for winter. Hoping for another nice day...
Mk IV Roadster - #8650 - delivered 7-17-2015 - first start 7-28-2018 - first go-kart 10-13-2018 - licensed and on the road 9-9-19: body/paint completed 3-17-2020.
Complete kit / 2015 Coyote / TKO600 / IRS / Wilwood brakes / Mid-Shift mod / Power Steering / Heater and Seat Heaters / RT turn signal / Breeze radiator shroud and mount
Decided the driving season was over a few days ago. Added fuel stabilizer, filled the tank, put it on wheel dollies, changed the oil, installed the top, gave the car a quick wash, put the cover on and shoved it in the corner of the garage to give my wife as much room to park as possible. Looking forward to spring already.

My j-pipe/side pipe combination on the driver’s side has been slipping down gradually due to the adjustable manifold / j-pipe connection. The poor quality rubber hanger on the side pipes is not helping either. I installed this stainless turnbuckle purchased on Amazon to suspend the system and prevent further downward movement. The system is free to move upwards as I used two chain links to attach the turnbuckle to the 3/4” chassis member. I also sourced a much stiffer rubber exhaust hanger at the local pick and pull. Fingers crossed!
MKIV #8740, Canadian base kit, Picked up Dec. 2015, ‘98 Cobra 4.6 l DOHC, T45 transmission, old style IRS, Art Cuesta dieted harness/Ron Francis chassis harness, go-cart July 2018.
I brought Redbone home from my brother's house (Again).
We've stored it there for every storm (Hurricane) that came to visit us this year.
I then took my baby girl for a ride (Emma age 27) and after that, I took my pal Matt for a ride too.
To say the least, it was a very nice day so I'm now enjoying one of my favorite Tequilas because I'm out of Scotch!
Wife and I made about 50 mile local cruise. I got my 4 corner balance corrected, thanks to Jeff K.
Rear does not feel as loose in a left hander now.
I clocked my MAF sensor tube and engine feels cleaner below 3K rpm.
Brakes feel like they may be requiring less leg, 1100 plus miles. Wilwoods 6 and 4 pistons.
Checked my tire pressure and set everything to 23# per my cheap gauge. Need to go back to 22#. 23 feels like it wants to dribble a little.
No new rattles or squeaks. Wife said she kept hearing something. It was me whistling.
Got to get those Speedhut gauge lights fixed, before paint day.
20th Anniversary Mk IV, A50XS Coyote, TKO 600, Trunk Drop Box, Trunk Battery Box, Cubby Hole, Seat Heaters, Radiator hanger and shroud.
Test fitted the body for the first time, which also was a test of the contraption I made to be able to put the body on and take it off by myself. Worked great!

I Put On My Hunting Jacket & Went For Another Joy Ride Today!
When I left the house it was 39-F so it was not bad at all compared to my former motorcycling excursions.
I cruised to my pal Dave's how to see how he and Sammy were coming along on Dave's 33 HR.
They've finished the bodywork and were sanding away getting it ready for paint.
They hope to prime the car next weekend.
NOTE:...Yes Dave's Car Is Chevy Powered Thanks To BluePrint Engines!

I have my differential and pinion out for a bad bearing. I am going to have to pull the housing out because I cannot get the rear bearing race to go in from under the car. I even put it in the freezer. It was a PITA Royale to get the old one out.
Hopefully all back together this weekend. I am missing some sweeeeet Florida driving weather.
Went on a cruise along the Potomac river to George Washington's Mt. Vernon estate and back. Thanks to the Cobra Heat seat heaters, it was a pleasant ride even at 48 degrees.

I drove my roadster to the State University of New York at Albany, where I got my first dose of the covid vaccine! Thanks to the National Guard, for taking such good care of us. It was about 30 degrees out, but the roads were clear and it wasn't raining, so why not drive the cobra?
Looked at my car hibernating under a cover while more snow fell. Love Boston in Feb.
