I've been a loyal FFR builder/owner since about 2000. I have FFR 1920. I posted some technical items during the build of my Mark2. Some postings were viewed as useful. Now I doubt the current relevance of my build details in view of the evolution of the FFR to Mark 4 levels so my post count is, and will be, low. I'm finding that I have a few (salable) items that are no longer needed and value "classifieds' as a resource to me (and a potential bargain to current builders). So..... given that I will not pad my postings with drivel, is there a way to resolve this apparent conflict?
I'm guessing that this "special need" is probably less import to the big picture than the need to counter potential spammers, but I am good customer and I am tempted to build an additional;
33 or,
a GTM or,
a WRX adapted super fly weight.
So moderators, please balance the objectives and keep, guys like me in your mind as you determine policy.
I'm not saying that the resolution of this "posting in classified" will influence my future purchase decisions, but I'm in sales and marketing myself and view alienation of my prospective customers as contrary to the general mission.
Best of luck with the new forum!
Was the question ever answered as to how many posts are required to post in the classified section?

Like Bill said, there's still a ton of activity on the FFcars forum classifieds. I have an engine package I think I'm going to sell (project fell through) and even though I'm certain to have the required number of posts here in a couple of days, I'll put it in the classifieds at the other forum due to the higher (for now) traffic there. Better chance of selling it and I could use the cash right now!

Good to know...Thx Darc
Mark and Bill are correct. There is a ton more still on the other site and I think that will be the main area for the near future. This will take time just like anything new. Glad to see the tick is only 25 though.
Keep in mind not all of the classified sections are open yet, so far I only have posting permissions in the donor for sale section.

HOW TO BUY A USED COBRA
There is a reason I wanted to post it here and it has nothing to do with the number of viewers, but rather a specific viewer.

Doug,Title of thread says it all.
Larry, looks like you need a little more padding.

Geez you guys, padding your posts...have you no shame?!?! OOPS, I seem to resemble that remark... :^)
Just so you all know, padding is not necessary as the classifieds are not open yet.

If you are a "known" personality to the mods you MAY get away with creating a thread before you get to 25 posts. The mods have been instructed to delete threads of those who do not have 25 posts, and who are unknown to us.
This is an effort to be as flexible as we can while the site is still "spinning up". Please bear with us, and don't get too upset if you post your 1st here is a post to the classifieds and it goes away.
