Fuel pump specs and requirements for my 427EFI

    Hello everyone. Build 10314

I am definitely lacking when it comes to fuel pumps and requirements. Is there anyone out there that can give me some information as to what is the required fuel pump for my 427EFI that is coming. Still not sure if it is going to be an inline or in tank fuel pump. Information as to someone who has already installed a good quality fuel pump into a 427EFI already would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much

Size of pump depends on hp.

(Modern) 427s usually run in the 550hp ballpark, give or take.

What are the expected numbers on the one you have coming?

    That'll help with the sizing.

Hello Rob. Stage 2 427 is expected to be in the range of 581HP. Hope this helps out.

I am running an Inected FE - 468" w/ Borla Eight Stack system. I used the Aeromotive Phantom 340, it's an in-tank system. I ran a Phantom 200 in my previous big block (432" - Injected EightStack) and it performed well. Went with the 340 as the price difference isn't that great.

I have a stage 1 427 from BPE, I went with the largest Breeze pump kit. Mark also has the fuel return kit and everything else you'll need.
