FS: 818R Kit; 12kOBO

818R kit with rebuilt engine, transmission, chassis, and body FS. Selling because I need the space in the garage for other projects; unlike the kits from FFR, this one is ready to go today without having to wait into 2023 and/or see if FFR is even still producing them.

Note: non-insulting but nevertheless lowball offers will be entertained. I need the work space and given the provenance of this body, I'd prefer that someone take it who will use it rather than consigning it to the dump. But that will happen soon if nobody wants this car.

Body is the same body used in the car reviews in Road & Track, Car & Driver, etc., back when FFR debuted the car, but not the prototype chassis. Chassis has been somewhat modified during the build (as shown in photos). I'll be glad to answer questions but included in sale is everything currently attached to the chassis plus the body and, generally, all components which came from FFR with the original purchase of the kit. Some aluminum panels have probably been repurposed (they sent panels for the non-R too), but IIRC everything (or nearly everything) is still there for a complete build. Specifically included is the following, there are certainly additional parts not listed as the list is too voluminous):

Modified chassis:
Upgraded chassis (increased rear trans mount strength, puts transmission at correct angle)
Upgraded roll hoop (added plates where round tube meets square tube, extra backstays)

Chassis currently sits on Subaru factory wheels and old tires. Also have a set of semi-custom wheels which are not included in sale, but can be negotiated. All wheels are NIB Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 Alloy wheels, Gloss Anthracite, never installed, never mounted. 6 front wheels in 15x7, 5x100, 40mm offset, 6 rear in 17x9, 5x100, 40mm offset. Wheel sizes were optimized for availability of racing slicks and to ensure front wheel/tire package would not rub on the tub.

I notice you listed the 818C windshield frame and glass. Do you mean 818S, or do you actually have the whole roof for a coupe?
