Thank you. This is my second car and I've learned so much from building this and learning little features and tricks from other members here and in the St. Louis Gateway Cobra Club. We have around 45-50 members. While driving my old MKII car, I was always looking at other cars, especially in our club and adding a checklist of features I wanted to include on my next build. Thanks to all members here for the support and guidance. I'd also like to thanks a couple of nice friends who helped bring my vision of the body and paint to life, Tony Glover and Shane Henson

    TBull- Very well done!
Can you tell me about your wheel and tire setup, please? Specifically, the wheel and tire dimensions and where you sourced the FR wheels. Thanks!

Wes, I bought the tire kit off of LMR with 315 rears and 275 front Nitto G2 Tires

    https://lmr.com/item/WTK-N1007UBS/19...Wheel-Tire-Kit

I built the car with this tire setup in mind. I have a set of Halibrands I plan to use for the track and I planned on the front being 275s, so I bought the FFMetal Fat Tire front "F" panel kit as well. With sway bars front and rear and an aggressive street alignment, the car handles like a dream. To complete the look, I bought a Nitto tire sticker kit off Etsy for the the billboard look.

TBull, I’m planning on getting the same set of LMR FR500s for my MK3. I am torn between going 275 up front vs 255. Since you bought the combo, I assume yours is 275? Would you buy them again? Can you please provide feedback on your experience and what you recommend? I’m worried that 275s would make the front end sluggish and would tram line on uneven roads. Yet getting the pre mounted set is very convenient vs buying wheels only and sourcing tires locally.

I love the tires. Yes I have the 275s on front and I haven't experienced anything Jerry with them so far. I have a set of Halibrands for the track that I always planned on doing 275 up front for those as well with the 315 in the rear. I installed FFMetal fat tire F panels in preparation for this. I have had very minor rubbing on the inner lip of the fender early on, but adjusted the car a little higher. I'm 4.25 or a little more in front to the bottom of the 4 inch tube and 4.75 in rear or there abouts. The fat tire panels really help rubbing on the inside too.

Thanks for the feedback. How tall are the billboard letters that you used?

I thought it was beautiful also but the colors brought AUBURN to my mind. When I saw it
I had to look up where it was located and was a bit surprised to find out where. HA.......
