I am interested in your comment about the two different designs possibly being different on the street. I believe the coupe is a MK4 stretched 5 inches plus other changes to configure it for the coupe body. But as far as the suspension goes, pretty much identical except the wheelbase. I have decided on going with the 2015 Mustang IRS, now the IRS should produce a different driving feel without a doubt. I would bet if you drove a roadster and couple back to back that were otherwise configured the same, under most conditions you would not be able to tell them apart. The roadster will be more nimble with a better turn in going into tighter corners. Outward vision will be very different with the roadster being for like a fighter yet with a full canopy. I do get staying with the 3-link as the IRS is an expensive upgrade. This will be my 2nd and, likely last Factory Five as in not so many years, I will likely age out from building complete cars.
