Hi Lahrs,
You've probably already got a good set of regular crimpers, but for others' benefit I'll recommend these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. They have interchangeable jaws that allow you to crimp Weatherpak, insulated, and non-insulated terminals up to 10 gauge. I love mine.
Cheers,
John

Get one of these too, you'll likely need it. I made a couple of 'mistakes' and also changed my mind a couple of times.

I really think that you should ship one of these with your crimper, Mike!

I've been searching on this as well
found these crimpers online for only $18! IWISS Weather Pack Crimper Tools for Delphi Packard Weather Pack Terminals or Metri-Pack Connectors

get the $38 one. it has a guide on the back that holds the connector pins in place while you crimp. make sure you don't put too much pressure on the wire as I've pushed the wire beyond the crimping zone, resulting in the crimp occurring on the wire insulation. I'm sure it would have worked just fine since the distal bare wire was still touching the metal pin, but cut them off and redid them anyway.
This is also a good source for components.

I have the cheap crimper, it works fine, but it is slow and tedious to use correctly. Had I found the better crimper 6 yrs ago, I'd have it instead.
oh good idea - plus it comes with the removal tool as well!

Don't the weatherpack connectors come with the kit any longer? They used to include all the ones needed for the front and rear t/sig's..
Does anyone know what the weather pack amperage ratings are for their connector pins?
20A max. https://www.wiringdepot.com/jt-t-tec...-Terminal-FAQs
So if you're using a fan with a 30A fuse, the weather pack connector becomes your fuse!
