Good post David. A forum's relationship with the vendors says a lot about the character of those running the forum.

To any guys making, or considering making, some parts for sale: Many have done it in the past and sold the parts through a vendor. It grows their inventory at low cost and saves you the hassle of direct sales. Some of the best mods available came about that way.
