    Gen 3 Coupe at VIR

I read that John George planned to debut his coupe at VIR today so I drove there to see it. I was not disappointed! John and the Doughertys were working on the car when I found it in the paddock but they took time to say HI and answered my (many) questions. A great bunch of guys! The car looked good and it looked fast, I hope to see it and them again at VIR in May.

Once John gets this car dialed in it will likely be curtains for his competition.
It will be interesting to hear his reaction about moving to a closed cockpit platform.

Wow! It looks good! Need some brake work it sounds like but the engine is strong. Handling looks solid as well. Thanks for the post.

I've watched many of John's VIR videos. From the section out of Oak Tree (the bottom sharp curve) it seems that the coupe is about 15mph faster than the old roadster.
Great work, impressive performance, especially for a new car and the first event. It only gets faster from here.

Wow! The aero must be working well. 137mph into the Esses and 125mph out the other side!!!!

Nice Job. The car looks like it is running great.

    Hi guys
    Still at the track
John has gone 2 minute flat so far on several occasions.
We are very busy working the bugs out.
Today in the thunder race the pressure plate broke on lap 1
    John drove it in though.
We just finished installing a new on and it is time to get some sleep.
Keep your fingers crossed if all goes well John will be the first FFR to break the 2 minute barrier.
    At VIR
    Buuuut
Trevor is here with his FFR roadster and he wants to be the first to do that also.
    So the race is on.
Let's see who gets there first
John with his slippery coupe, small tires, and aero.
    Or
Trevor with his cobra, big HP, and slicks
This is sure to be a battle.
